Wouldn't it be much better to discuss the real issue, please?
Let's start outlining the security / privacy threats. If we
have a good threat model, then perhaps we can begin designing
solutions.
All of this wrangling over what may or may not be permitted
is a rathole.
Heck, in order to get things moving forward - I'll even offer
to edit the threat analysis document - though I will need
people to send their favorite security & privacy threats.
